Music makes the people come together ♫
by Kaoly - 22. June 32 commentariesYesterday all around the world people were celebrating the World Music Day. What better occasion to bring sound to light?
After tough negotiations, we managed to obtain a few animations with sound-effects just for you! So turn on your speakers or put on your headphones, because Wakfu wants to be heard! ♫

Let's start out with our friendly Gobballs!
And now our Clan Members who are making a ruckus!
Fight-oh! Open your ears more than your eyes - this one was done on a test map! ;)
You’re probably wondering what we had to offer in exchange for these videos… Well, the Sound Design Team didn’t ask for much, just that you answer a few simple questions on your computer’s audio configuration. That way, they can craft the sound to better suit your needs.
If you feel like helping them out (as we hope you do!) click here! ♫

I typically play at my desk, plugged into some small speakers (I think they're only about 4w.. I'd like to get higher performance audio equipment as I listen to music pretty much constantly). The built-in speakers on this laptop are also surprisingly good, for laptop speakers anyway, so if I'm at a friend's house I don't mind just using the laptop. I rarely ever use headphones - maybe if for some reason I'm playing in public, but that almost never happens.
The sample sounds on the devblog sound excellent!!! I've said it many times before: I loved the sounds when I first got into Wakfu, and I can't wait to hear them again. Maybe some of them will be up during the next update? *bats eyelashes* Anyway, please keep up the great work!
EDIT: oh, and I feel I should note that when I used to play Dofus, I generally turned off the in-game music (but kept the sound effects!) and played my own music. It just gets tiring after a while. I wonder if that will change with the new music and the dynamic system we've heard a little about. I still get nostalgic and have to look up the old Dofus music sometimes, though. I miss some of the old Wakfu tunes, too.
