Wakfu Game on Nintendo DS
Before all, to answer to players who do not read the forum and who wonder if you will be able to play online on Wakfu servers from your DS, the answer is no. Wakfu DS is a game in its own right, distinct from the Wakfu MMORPG and therefore will not offer persistent content.
Wakfu DS will be a Tactical RPG in which the player will carry on turn-based fights in 3D isometric sceneries. Final Fantasy Tactics fans will find without a doubt their way around it!
During your journey, you will be able to carry on several dungeons with increased difficulty, from the classic Gobball and Tofus dungeons to more singular and dangerous ones. The two Light and Darkness cartridges will offer a different series of dungeons! Between every fight, you will of course be able to make your character and his equipment evolve as any self-respecting RPG!
On top of the solo mode, a multiplayer mode will allow up to 4 players to play local game through the DS WIFI.
Finally, among the many items and equipment your character will be able to gather and equip on Wakfu DS, each cartridge will allow you to obtain some rare items that you will be able to transfer to your Wakfu MMORPG account! Then, you will be able to strut about on the Amakna Island sporting a cape or a hat that you will never see elsewhere! These unlockable items will allow you to have a look impossible to get in the MMORPG but will not give you advantages in terms of characteristics: They will not give you better bonuses than the other items.
This is very nice to hear because i have a ds but i have question will the class look like the dofus class of wakfu class because that feca look lot like the dofus feca or unless the feca in wakfu look jst like it fofrathers.

I got a Ds too, i'm also very excited about the game. I hope there will be a game for the Wii too ^^ or the Nintendo GameCube :D.

Wow, this seems like a April fools joke... Seems like this will be a very long way off unless They hire alot of DS devs.. also the idea thats it wont be online at all kinda sucks. but i guess they would be no good way to update a ds game even tho theres like 1gig of space.

Sounds like Warcraft III to World of Warcraft, which selled well, and still is, if I do say so myself.

I imagine a single-player game would have a lot more scope for giving information about the Wakfu world. I certainly hope so anyway.

and get the Wakfu game for it.

do you have to be a member to transfer the items? as it is, the fact that those who can't afford to pay to receive the full experience is - for want of a better word - lame. Restrictions on the areas you can go to and the merchant-for-members-only should be abolished, honestly, that's just being stingy.
don't want to put you down the whole way, i gotta say this'll be pretty awesome, though i wish you'd put it on a better console than the DS. maybe a PSP would be more suitable as it has better graphics and memory.

Hey, just wondering, could you guys put this on the Playstation Portable too? All the Tactics Games are on the Playstation Portable and that's why I'm going to save up to buy one but this is one of my Favorite MMOs and if this is on the DS then I might never get to play it since I'm only 13 and I have a hard time making money...
I just wanted to say that too see if it could also be on the Playstation Portable but if it can't I understand. I'll just save up again until I have $120 to buy a DS to get the Game. Dofus was the coolest Tactics Game I ever played so I really can't wait for Wakfu to come out.

OMG. This Wakfu game for the DS will be a new Generation for everyone and everything! :) I'm also looking forward to looking at all the knew fire-type enemies that are knew. Like the fire-gobball thing. This game will be THE best game created and i look forward to playing it soon.

I'm so excited about this. However, I've just been blessed with a Sony PSP and I've found the PSP to be so much superior to the Nintendo DS. It is true that the DS is an enjoyable system and that the stylus makes it a system a choice to those who enjoy the stylus.
However the Sony PlayStation Portable has many capabilities and it has a range of good RPG's on already and Wakfu would make an excellent addition to this collection. I'd love to be able to play Wakfu on the PSP anytime and anywhere. I also would hope that Wakfu on the PSP would contain Ad-Hoc and Infrastructure game play features along with game sharing.
